Bailey and Andrew were married on a gorgeous autumn day on the coast at a family home in Cedar Point, North Carolina. This wedding is the epitome of Cottage Luxe weddings, and it aligned so beautifully with our favorite elements of a wedding day! Bailey and Andrew are unabashedly in love, and you could feel their love and joy in every moment, detail, and image from their wedding with their loved ones celebrating. We’re also still swooning over these breathtaking images from their wedding day, especially these epic boat photos!
What is more “Cottage Luxe” than a tented coastal wedding filled with breathtaking vistas, a deeply meaningful location, gorgeous bespoke details, colorful, lush florals, the sweetest love story, and the happiest start to a marriage surrounded by loved ones?! Cottage Luxe really was an ideal fit for Bailey and Andrew’s tented coastal wedding since our rentals, furniture, and lounge collections are the perfect way to elevate the design of a tented wedding by the sea, especially one in which you build from the ground up. Our specialty is just this, and it’s one we specialize in time and time again.
By now, you know we love homeplace weddings overflowing with significance and personal ties, and this wedding was clearly no exception! The family history and meaning behind this location is simply beautiful and so special. This home and property in Cedar Point, NC has a long, romantic history, and it is originally the groom’s grandmother’s land that has been passed down on his maternal side for generations and generations (since the family settled in American from England). This property was not only the setting of Bailey and Andrew’s wedding day, but it will also play a big role in their lives as they grow their own family. You can get more meaningful than that or have a greater connection to a location!
We adored seeing so many casually elegant Cottage Luxe items at Bailey and Andrew’s tented coastal wedding, where each and every piece was meticulously selected and curated to bring their wedding day to life! The beautiful statement bar was framed perfectly under their tent, and the combination of double 8 foot Harper bars with 3 Gold Coast Bar Backs was exceptional. The perfect touch of florals, their bar signage, and even a table top lamp accentuated their bar so exquisitely. We’re always huge fans of having the florist repurpose ceremony aisle runner flowers for the reception, and what a treat it was to see those florals used again underneath the tent.
Two classic Cottage Luxe lounges mirrored each other on either side of the dance floor, which provided refined, comfortable, and fun guest seating throughout the reception and dancing. Pro tip: we always recommend that lounges be placed with a direct view of the dance floor, since, after all, that’s where all of the action takes place later in the evening! These gorgeous lounges become such a focal point and are used so much more often when they’re strategically situated right by the dance floor. Adding in these tufted ottomans allows for further seating with a formal yet fun vibe. We are huge fans of every detail from this wedding, along with the sweetest bride and groom and stellar team of vendors! Thank you so much for having us be a part of your magical day, Bailey and Andrew, and so many congratulations to you two!
Thank you so much to a truly exceptional team of creative partners who worked so hard to bring Bailey and Andrew’s wedding to life!
